Paul Deller Chairman

Paul Deller
Paul is 43 years old and joined the Met in 1986. An Area car driver and former level 2 trained officer, he started his Federation career in 1992 as a station representative on the old 3 area board. Paul has an active interest in the field of discipline, and has represented officers at both misconduct meetings and hearings under the new misconduct code. Paul was elected to the Executive Committee in April 2006, and is secretary of the JEC Policing committee. He also sits on the constitution and member services committees, and is also responsible for monitoring and updating the CBB website.

Paul was elected as Vice Chairman to the CBB in January 2008 and became Chairman in May of the same year.

His interests outside the Job include being a football referee, president of a local Sunday football league and a school governor.

Dave Bennett General Secretary

Dave Bennett
Dave Bennett joined the MPS in 1981 and was posted to Barking & Dagenham and has worked in all aspects of street policing, core team, instant response & crime squad. He became a rep in 1989, served as a branch board representative since that date. Dave has specialised in the misconduct arena and assisted in preparing our evidence to the Morris Enquiry. He became the Deputy Secretary in February 2005 and took over the role of General Secretary in July 2006.

Stuart Telfer Vice Chairman

Stuart Telfer
Stuart joined the MPS in Aug 1980 straight from school and was first posted to Holloway Division, and then in 1985, under the IDT scheme he was moved to Tottenham Division. By 1988 he had moved back to Ruislip, his home town and managed to secure a transfer to Ealing Division where he still works.

Stuart has always been a uniformed officer working on team and in various community roles. He became the workplace Fed rep for Hanwell in 1998 and soon after became the divisional representative.

Stuart is currently on his second stint as the CBB Vice-Chair, He is also the CBB trustee to the Police Rehabilitation Centre, and sit's on the Relief Board. Along with being the JEC deputy treasurer.

Outside work Stuart's passion's have always been sport, particularly football, rugby and cricket. A keen follower of Liverpool FC, he is also the chairman of Ickenham Rugby Club.

Mike Bryant Deputy Secretary

Mike Bryant
Mike Bryant has been a Fed Rep since 1992. He joined the Met after service with the Royal Marines a former TSG officer and Class 1 area car driver. Mike has been the lead in training fellow representatives in misconduct procedures and was elected Deputy Secretary in 2006 and is also in charge of all Met Federation training. His outside interests are Chelsea and Rugby Union.
