• The Metropolitan CBB is the single largest Federation Branch Board in the UK,
  representing more than 24,000 Constables.

• In 2006 the CBB office dealt with 1754 claims on behalf of Members.

• In the last 12 months the CBB has assisted Metropolitan Constables in 422 cases
  to recover damages for Personal Injury claims totaling £3.7 million

• Last year the CBB helped Members to claim compensation for criminal injuries
  of more than £500,000.

• Other claims include 534 Group Insurance claims, 29 half pay appeals, with the bulk of the other claims consisting of legal and discipline matters.
