Last February the CBB organised a special reception, hosted by Mayor Livingstone, at City Hall also in attendance was the Commissioner, Sir John Stevens, former Commissioner Lord Imbert and Police Memorial campaigner Michael Winner, the CBB gave a cheque for £150,000 for the National Police Memorial Day. It gave a cheque for £50,000 to the Commissioner for the Police Convalescent Home at Goring, and another £50,000 to Michael Winner for the Police Memorial Trust.
